Director of Fundraising & Marketing

“In 2009 our main aim in developing a new, global regular giving product was to make our regular supporters feel highly engaged with WSPA. Bluefrog won the pitch with their concept, Animal Protector, and we were really impressed by their focus on telling our stories so that our supporters could hear and see just what impact they have on animals’ lives. Through the personalised Animal Protector website, these supporters are brought closer to the animals they are helping to protect and the projects they are helping to fund, as well as being able to manage their giving to WSPA. The largely digital platform developed by Bluefrog means that we can afford to communicate very regularly (at least once a week) with our supporters and it is really rewarding to see all the comments on each story we post. In terms of impact on our bottom line, the Animal Protector website has stemmed attrition and people are spontaneously upgrading and donating too.

A great bonus of working on Animal Protector has been the successful, creative and fun working relationship between Bluefrog and WSPA UK. We delivered the Animal Protector project via a working group made up of Bluefrog staff and WSPA staff and that was the recipe for creating a real team bond that has since gone on to create Big Bear Build, our most successful appeal ever, and our very first (and very successful) legacy marketing campaign. Winning the Institute of Fundraising, Third Sector and DMA awards in 2012 was a wonderful recognition for the Bluefrog / WSPA UK team who worked so hard to develop and launch Animal Protector in the UK and I look forward to hearing of more success as other WSPA offices around the world launch it in their countries too.”

Individual Giving Manager
Marie Curie Cancer Care

“As a not-for-profit fundraising specialist agency Bluefrog have my unreserved admiration and respect and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend them highly.

During the past two years while I’ve been working at Marie Curie Cancer Care, we’ve collaborated to achieve incredible fundraising results that consistently beat our ambitious targets. Our success has been the result of many great minds thinking alike and working happily together in partnership.

They’ve shown a level of dedication, commitment, care and passion for our cause that is at least equal to our own. Their pursuit and single-minded focus on great fundraising results leaves no room for mediocrity or failure. This is, more than anything else, what raises Bluefrog from being simply another supplier or agency to being a trusted, respected, essential and much-loved partner…and an irreplaceable part of our team.

I’m extremely proud of the work we produce together and have no doubt that this will continue well into the future.”

Head of Direct Marketing

“During the past year with Sense, and for nearly a decade while working for ActionAid, my experience with Bluefrog has been a very positive charity-agency relationship – our work together has been a partnership. Rising to the creative and strategic challenges that have been asked of them. Their understanding of the importance of building strong relationships with donors is second to none in the agency world.

The work that Sense has produced with Bluefrog has taken a challenging subject and made it uplifting and accessible to our supporters– bringing the donor into the world of deafblind children in a way that they can understand and that feels human. Our results continue to reflect that, and from our donor feedback, I know they feel valued and engaged.”
