Over the last decade or so of developing record-breaking appeals for institutions like the University of Leeds, Imperial College and the University of St Andrews, Bluefrog has developed the CARE model through which we approach university fundraising. This model ensures our appeals incorporate four key features:
Connection
To create a nostalgic connection with the alumni’s younger self.
Alumni values
To maintain the reputation of the university – and thereby enhance the status of the alumni.
Remember
Our communications show alumni that we know them and remember who they are.
Encourage
We ask alumni to give to ensure the work that defines their university continues, and is protected from the impact of external pressures, like those created by the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis.
